Camden Square Subdivision
Back To LivingWelcome to Camden Square Homeowners Association
Established 1986
Our subdivision here at Camden Square includes 195 homes and is located on Hwy. 29, approximately .5 miles south of Central Gwinnett High School. The entrance is next to Lawrenceville Pediatrics and across the street from the Lawrenceville Public Library. Camden Square Homeowners Association (CSHA) was formed in 1986 by ten concerned families to deal with the city re-zoning of the property adjacent to Hwy. 29. This property matter was resolved with the signing of a legal agreement which remedied this concern. A second main objective was to provide for our community a family-oriented organization dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life in Camden Square. The Homeowners Association is voluntary with $30 annual dues. Camden Square residents can join the Swim & Tennis club in Hannary Estates, which is the adjacent subdivision.
The following is a list of just some of the ways the CSHA has worked over the past 22 years on behalf of the residents of Camden Square:
• Decorative large and small entrance walls, including: Camden Square plaque and wall signage; professional landscaping of trees, shrubs, and flowers; lighting; and a sprinkler system.
• On-going landscaping and maintenance of the entrance walls.
• Convinced the city to put up the street light on Hwy. 29 so it would be easier to see the entrance to our subdivision, as well as a decorative holiday light during December.
• Purchase of the black specialty street lights throughout the subdivision.
• Social Committee that planned and sponsored such events as a Halloween Parade, Christmas Party, Easter Egg Hunt, Ice Cream Socials, Picnics and other activities for both the children and young at heart.
• Holiday mailbox decor, front entrance wall decorations, graduation banners and banner welcoming home our Desert Storm troops.
