Free Networking attendance for those who qualify
Who is invited to attend Networking Works at no charge?
Networking Works is a membership organization with weekly meetings in Gwinnett County for sales representatives, consultants/coaches and business owners however; we have two categories we invite to be members, for one month, for at no charge.
The first is job seekers because our meetings can support their search and they might have contacts that need our products and services
The second is non-profit organizations that are not politically or religiously based.
This puts more attendees around the table and informs us of volunteer opportunities in our local community.
Who do you know that might like to visit a Networking Works meeting next week?
Have a wonderful week,

Contest for Small Business Owners!!!
Author: Purple Star Consulting
We are excited to announce a great competition for the rest of this month! One lucky business will have a WordPress blog added to their website. This gives you the opportunity to keep your own clients informed about any specials or events you have coming up. You can write educational articles giving facts and helping teach others about your craft or field. You can share ideas and opinions easily. WordPress is accessed through an online portal you can log into directly.
So what do you have to do to win?
Creating a blog to fit in with your current website is a pretty big deal. For a small business owner, the cost of web design or site work can be a luxury. So, its not going to be as simple as just submitting your name, or signing up for a newsletter. What we are looking for is a little more creative. Tell us why you want a blog, what you will blog about and how you hope this will improve your own business. Must be at least 100 words, but can be as detailed and entertaining as you wish!

Be a Sticky Biz: 5 ways to use email marketing to make your customers come back
Author: Jessica Ferguson
Original Source: Signature Business Support Services
Advice from virtual assistant, Jessica Ferguson of Signature Business Support Services,
who helps businesses stay organized by providing them with administrative and
back office support from an off-site location.
Do you want your customers to be stuck on your business? Give them a reason, or five, to come back!
Check out these 5 ways to use email marketing tools, such as Constant Contact email campaigns, to get
your customers back in the door.
1) Profile customers in your enewsletter!
Let your customers know that it is all about them! Profile a different customer every month or include submissions or photos from customers. Create an “Ask the Expert” column for your enewsletter and invite customers to submit their questions. If you own a pet care facility, include a “Pet of the Month” section, complete with photo and facts about Fido! People will be sure to send the enewsletter to everyone they know!
2) Send them a birthday email!
Everyone appreciates it when someone remembers their birthday so why not send your customers a special birthday discount email? When customers sign up for email lists, have them list the day and month of their birthday. Keep track of the information in a database and send special birthday discounts through email at the beginning of the month to every client with a birthday that month!
3) Give them a free gift!
Send your customers information they can use in the form of a podcast, an electronic file that contains audio content. Use your podcast to provide customers with “how-to” advice, industry news, sneak peaks or “top ten” lists. For instance, if you are a restaurant that serves only healthy organic food, create a podcast about how to maintain a healthy diet by eating only organic food!
4) Send a coupon!
Use enewsletters to send your customers coupons. They can print coupons directly from their email. Encourage customers to join your email list by offering exclusive coupons that are only available through your enewsletter.
5) Announce special sales!
Enewsletters are a great way to let customers know about upcoming sales or special offers. Create special VIP sales and announce them only to your enewsletter readers!
